Effective January 16, 2023, the NIS 2 Directive (otherwise known as the Directive (EU) 2022/2555) has been established to enhance the security of network and information systems across the European Union.

This directive specifically targets critical infrastructure operators and essential service providers, mandating the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures and the prompt reporting of incidents to relevant authorities.
